Gerald DeBerry — 45 Years of Restaurant Excellence

His Story

Gerald DeBerry's journey began in a small kitchen with a big idea: that hospitality, done right, can change lives. Over forty-five years, he turned that conviction into a career spanning ownership of multi-unit restaurants in Greenville, South Carolina and greater Atlanta, executive leadership at Hilton properties, and dietary management for assisted living communities.

Trained as a culinary professional, Gerald built his reputation the hard way — line by line, ticket by ticket, payroll by payroll. He learned that great food is the price of entry; what separates lasting operations is disciplined cost control, consistent training, and a culture where every step is ordered and every step is covered.

Today Gerald serves as Bishop of Relatable Truth Ministries, authored Thank God for My Shoes, and co-developed the F$C Food Cost Controller alongside founding Health Nut AI. His consulting practice brings every chapter of that story to the operators he serves.
